X Reply Assistant · Effective date: September 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how X Reply Assistant (the “Extension”) handles information when you use its Chrome extension features, account and subscription services, and optional AI features.
Information the Extension handles
- Extension settings and activity: reply profiles, preferences, automation settings, and reply or follow/unfollow history may be stored in Chrome's local extension storage on your device.
- AI provider credentials: if you choose to use an AI provider, its API key is stored locally in the Extension settings. Cloud settings sync excludes the API key and local reply/follow history.
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, the account service processes account identifiers and information such as your email address and authentication session to provide sign-in, account access, and subscription checks.
- X account link: if you choose to link an X account, the Extension sends the X handle you submit to the account service to associate it with your subscription and check access.
- Cloud settings: if you choose cloud save, the Extension sends your eligible settings and reply profiles to your account so they can be restored on another device. API keys, runtime state, and local reply/follow history are excluded from the cloud settings snapshot.
- Purchase and access records: subscription and crypto payment features may process plan, payment status, selected chain and asset, payment amount, wallet destination, transaction hash, invite code, and waitlist email where applicable. The Extension does not request card numbers for its crypto payment flow.
- X page content: while you use an Extension feature on X, the Extension reads relevant visible post and account information needed to prepare replies or carry out the feature you selected.
AI features and sharing
If you request an AI reply, rewrite, or provider test, the relevant post text or text you submit, together with the instructions needed to generate a response, is sent directly from the Extension to the AI provider you configured (such as OpenAI, DeepSeek, Anthropic, or Google Gemini). The provider's own privacy terms govern its processing. Do not submit sensitive information to an AI provider unless you are comfortable with that provider's terms.
Account, subscription, invite, waitlist, cloud settings, and payment records are sent to the Extension's account service. Google processes sign-in as the identity provider. X processes any actions you choose to submit on X, including replies, likes, follows, or unfollows. These services may process information under their own privacy policies.
We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising. Information is shared with the services above only as needed to provide the feature you request, operate account and payment features, protect the service, or comply with law.
How information is used
Information is used to save your preferences, generate requested AI output, perform Extension features on X, authenticate your account, link an X handle when requested, administer subscriptions and invites, process and verify crypto payment submissions, synchronize settings when requested, provide support, and protect the service against misuse.
Storage and retention
Local settings and activity history remain in Chrome extension storage on your device until you clear them or remove the Extension. Cloud account, subscription, invite, waitlist, and payment records are retained for as long as needed to provide the service, administer transactions, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Infrastructure providers may retain technical request logs under their own retention practices.
Your choices and requests
You can choose whether to use AI features, configure an AI provider, sign in, link an X account, or save settings to the cloud. You can remove local Extension data by clearing the Extension's stored data or removing it from Chrome. To request access, correction, or deletion of account-related information, contact us using the privacy contact below. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or to complete/account for a transaction.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the service. Network requests to the account service and supported AI providers use HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
The Extension is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy when the Extension's features or data practices change. The revised Policy will be posted at the same public URL with an updated effective date. Material changes will be disclosed where required.
